Packing for the trip home

7 am here in Slidell, Louisiana.   Getting ready to pack up the bike to head west.   Temps forecast today show high 80's.  Checking tire pressure photos below.

Went through the luggage to see what we have added since we left home.  Lots related to the Hobbs mishap:  duct tape, brake cleaner, hand cleaner, quart of oil.  Tourist items:   One cooking apron with Tabaaco label, one glass jar of olives, some literature from WWII museum.  That's it.  I did have to throw away a shirt to make room....well it was a horrible shirt that I brought hoping to need to toss it ;).  No more lime green shirts for me, ever.

We will head west on 10 this morning towards Houston.  Our gas mileage is averaging 42-43 mpg.  Probably helped by the aerodynamic streamlining of the duct tape.
