Pima Air museum in Tucson visit

Our third visit to this museum in 25 years.   First visit in the 1980’s and most of the planes were in the desert...fast forward to last week, the place has eight buildings and the fields are still full of really great aircraft.  Worth a trip to Tucson.

  1. Seeing that Huey in the first picture sure brings back some memories. I'd love to visit that air museum. I've been to Wright Pat, to the RAF Museum at Hendon, to the Air and Space Museum, and of course, the Pensacola Naval Aviation museum. If you look at the web page for the Pensacola museum, there's a T-28 Trojan hanging from the roof. I flew that aircraft when I was in VT-6, on several occasions.

Good post, it goes without saying!
